Glorine Dennis, 88, widow of Buddie Dennis, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at her home. She was born in Estill County, Kentucky, on May 18, 1932, to the late Ambrose and Stella Puckett Ashcraft. She worked at Osram Sylvania, was retired from General Electric, and was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (Betsy) Dennis and Danny (Pam) Dennis; two grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Foley and Ashley (Kevin) Hardin; one sister, Betty Johnson; Great-grandchildren, Liam Davis, Annalise Hardin, and Carter Foley; several extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Eva Brinegar, Jess Ashcraft, Irene Napier, Amy Dawes, Roy Ashcraft, and Edd Ashcraft.
Services will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Forest Grove Christian Church by Pastor Steven Moore. Burial will follow at Boonesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry Chapman, Wayne Ashcraft, Mike Tipton, Eric Foley, Kevin Hardin, and Doug Craycraft. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
