Rollan Lee Shafer, 87, husband of Willa Perry Shafer for 59 years, passed away June 16, 2021.

He was born Oct. 14, 1933, in Wilgus, Ohio, to the late Stanley and Marie Kingery Shafer. Rollan served four years in the U. S. Air Force and retired in 1990 after 30 years as an auditor for the U. S. General Accounting Office (now Governmental Office Accountability).

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children; John and Ronny Lynn Shafer, daughter-in-law Robin Shafer and grandson Clay Shafer. A life celebration will be held Saturday, June 26, at 2:00 pm at the Christview Christian Church, 3133 Boonesboro Rd. Winchester, Kentucky.
