Clark County celebrates 4th of July at Lykins park

The Fourth of July came early in Winchester with the Lights Over Lykins event Friday, July 2.

Starting at 6 p.m. and ending after 10 p.m., Lykins Park saw live music, vendors, foam and of course, fireworks.

DJ Lyn Toler provided music throughout the night, with Visions Magic bringing their Family Foam Fest – a machine shooting out foam for attendees to roll around and play in.

Vendors included Kona Ice, Hudson & Nash Ice Cream, Mama D’s Eats & Treats, L&L carts, B&T Novelties & Lemonade, Kathy’s Snack Shack, and Tacos Luna Y Mas.

The fireworks show started at 10 p.m., wowing park attendees and visible well over the highway.

Lights Over Lykins was presented by the City of Winchester, Clark County Solid Waste Office, Clark County, and Winchester ­— Clark County Parks and Recreation.
