Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Kimberly Jean Wattenberger, 45, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at her home. A native of Winchester, Kentucky, she was born on July 16, 1976, to Martha Ann Barnes Wattenberger and Eugene Wattenberger. Kimberly enjoyed her job at Baptist Health Urgent Care, where she worked as a clinical supervisor. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with her children, especially watching them play sports. Her children and grandchildren gave her the most joy, they were her everything.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children, Bre’Ana Bates and Caleb Bates and their father, James Bates; two grandchildren, Maddox Roark and Harrison Johnson; stepmother, Sharon Wattenberger; two stepsisters, Adina McCoy and Chenelle Rodgers; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Kimberly’s wishes were to be cremated. If you knew her, you knew she loved rainbows and would always take the time to stop and enjoy them, likely taking a few pictures. The next time you see a rainbow think of Kimberly smiling down on you. To sign the online guestbook vistit www.ScobeeFuneralHome.com.
