Ada Marie Burkhart, 89, passed away September 8, 2021. She was born March 17, 1932 in Lee Co., Ky, to the late Alfred “Crit” and Lola Wimsatt Smyth. She was the loving wife to the late Wilbert Burkhart, Sr., and was a member of Liberty Bible Church of God. She is survived by a son Wilbert, Jr., daughter-in-law Judy Crowe Burkhart; two grand children, Brian D. and Megan G. Burkhart; a great-grandchild, Piper L. Burkhart; 32 nieces and nephews; a sister, Golden Gross ; a brother-in-law, Billy Burkhart and 3 sisters-in-law, Juanita and Joy Burkhart and Wilma Smith. Thanks to her 5 caregivers and Hospice for their kindness in her time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Dr., Winchester, KY 40391. Graveside service will be Monday, September 13, at 11:00 am at Winchester Cemetery, with Bro Bill Konstantopoulos officiating. Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
