William “Bill” Woodford Bashford, 87, of Winchester passed away Sept. 19, 2021 St. Joseph hospital. He was born on Dec. 25, 1933 to the late Otha and Alma Wilson Bashford. Bill was a Montgomery County native, member of Mt. Sterling First Church of God & Liberty Bible Church of God, Winchester. Bill was a graduate of Mt. Sterling High School & attended Georgetown College and Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana. He was a Veteran of the US Army & retired from Columbia Gas Company. He was an avid U.K. sports fan & Kentucky Colonel. Bill is survived by his loving wife; Imogene Holley Bashford; step-daughter; Bemedji Asher (Ben); step grandsons, Chase Asher, Jake Cruse and Jesse Cruse; nephews, Ralph, Kenneth, Gary, Andrew, Tom, Greg, Charles Bashford & Glenn Foley; nieces, Karen Goodrich and Alice Wittenback; numerous cousins, friends and church family. Bill was preceded in death by step-son; Floyd “Buddy” Cruse II; brothers; Paul, Ralph & Charles Bashford; sister; Virginia Doyle; niece; Kathy Foley Jones. Fun. at 1PM, Thur, Sept 23, 2021.
