Dr. Robert H. (Bob) Sloat, 86, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Winchester, died on September 18, 2021. He was born in Peekskill, New York on June 25, 1935, the son of the late Robert E Sloat and Thelma G. See. He was a retired Industrial Psychologist and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeannette House Sloat of Winchester, KY, and Ft. Myers, FL; four sons, Robert Sloat II (Lynn); Michael Sloat; Steven Sloat (Laurie); David Sloat and one daughter, Darcey Jo Rosenblum (Dennis); two step-children, Robin Weatherly (Joe) and Brent Stivers; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his step-daughter, Fara C. Amsalem. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date with interment at the Lexington, KY Cemetery.
