Carl Satterly, 73, husband of Janet Greer Satterly, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2021. He was born November 10, 1947, to the late James and Mamie Taulbee Satterly Conklin, in Shelbyville, KY. He was a retired truck driver and a US Army veteran. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Carl Ray (Dana) Satterly; daughter Lisa Ann (Bryan) Satterly-Smyth; grandchildren: Trevor, Taylor, Ashley and Brooke Satterly; great-grandchild, Addison B. Smyth; a sister, Linda (Gay) McKinney; a brother, Kenneth Satterly; sister-in-law, Jackie (Jim) Underhill; brother-in-law, John (Janice) Greer; and a niece, Danielle Underhill. He is preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Satterly and sister-in-law, Sarah Satterly; step-father Everett Conklin. Graveside service will be on Monday, Oct 4, at 1:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 12:30, at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home.
