Irene (Patrick) Tapp passed away on October 5, at home in Mukilteo, Washington from a heart condition. She was born in Estill County on April 10, 1932. After moving from Alaska to Winchester in 1969, the Tapps opened a construction business. After retiring, they moved to Florida, to Oklahoma, then to Washington. Irene is survived by her husband of 71 years (Ken Tapp), two daughters, one granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, five sisters, and two brothers.
