Elizabeth H. Bunch, 90, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. A native of Winchester, KY, she was born on November 16, 1930, to the late Everett Henderson and Nancy Franklin Fisher.

Elizabeth graduated from Clark County High, attended Kentucky Wesleyan College, and graduated from Eastern State College. She was previously a teacher for the Clark County School System, retired from Bluegrass Army Depot and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a member of many organizations, including Worthy Matron of the Winchester Chapter 321 Order of Eastern Star, Mothers Club of the Order of DeMolay, Mother Adviser of the Order of Rainbow, Richmond Chapter 438 Order of Eastern Star, Arlington Association, Eastern Kentucky University Alumni Association, and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Mrs. Bunch was also a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Thomas (Kathy) Bunch; grandchildren, Wesley Allen (Shara) Bunch, Whitney Teresa Bunch; great grandsons, Nathan David Bunch, Hudson Lane Bunch, and Knox Tillman Bunch; several extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, sisters, and daughter, Teresa Lynn Bunch.

Services will be at 11:00AM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 32 East Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391 by Pastors Tony Stang and Don Burkhead. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Pumphrey, Larry Curtis, Bob Steele, Ron Barker, Jim Davis, Ken Dove, John Pumphrey, and Clay Wills. Honorary pallbearers will be Annette Goebel, Bonnie Biggerstaff, Agnes Estes, Emma Sue Stone, and Jinny Bingham.
