Barbara, Ann Smith, 74, loving wife of Dennis E Smith, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family, Thursday, November, 25, 2021. She was born on April 24, 1947, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Bernard and Ruth MacPherson Means. She was retired from retail sales and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, she is survived by her brother, Stephen M. Means of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; four children, Gail (Raymond) Gibbs of Winchester, Michele (Steve) Foster of Louisville, Shannon Woodring of Winchester, and Dennis M. (Lynnette) Smith of Winchester; nine grandchildren, Stephen Perkins of Winchester, Robert Hempel of Killeen, Texas, Tayler Hempel of Lousiville, Krystyn Perkins, D. Logan Whitt, Matthew Smith, Natalie Smith, Alayna Woodring, and Lauren Woodring all of Winchester; six great grandchildren, Heaven Baker, Izaiah Jett, Landon Perkins, Tyler Hempel, Layla Smith, and Laci Perkins; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Ruth Means of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; brother, Robert B. Spencer of Columbus, Ohio, and son-in-law, Alan Woodring of Winchester, KY.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel at Scobee Funeral Home by Doctor Ed Mesta with burial following in the Winchester Cemetery. Family requests that masks be worn.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel at Scobee Funeral Home until the time of the services.
Family requests that everyone wear masks.
