Winchester Sun is still building a gallery of photos, but you get the idea of what we’re trying to do.

In other snow news, Lexington Avenue and Bypass Road are clear in Winchester tonight (Friday), but the roads near and far across Clark County are a bit… well… more snow and ice covered, so be careful. County road crews are doing the best they can — those folks have been working hard around the clock.
As most kids know, school was canceled today, but keep on top that homework because it’s not like the old days when teachers didn’t have email or web pages. Back then, a snow day meant a holiday. These days, eh, you better do your math homework.
Please keep pets inside safe because the cold weather is dangerous. Remember, though Lassie has fur, that doesn’t mean he or she can’t feel the cold.
According to the National Weather Service, tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as 1. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph after midnight. Yuck!
Saturday will be Sunny, with a high near 41. Wind chill values as low as 2. East wind 6 to 9 mph becoming south in the afternoon. And there will be some showers, mainly after 1 am. Low around 37. South wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday brings more showers. High near 46. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
And look at the bright side, weekend temperatures in Siberia range from negative 4 degrees to negative 13 degrees below zero.
Folks can always move to Florida where weekend temperatures in Miami range from the low 70s to the upper 70s, however, those folks may get a bit of rain — it’s almost always rains at least once a day in paradise.
