Paul Douglas Gray, 94, loving husband to the late Mary Gray for 70 years, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Baptist Heath Hospital Lexington. He was born on May 7, 1927 to the late Pearl Gray and the late Ethel Gray. He was the youngest of 5 children. Paul was a fun-loving, kind man who could figure out any puzzle you put in front of him. He enjoyed a variety of endeavors that included obtaining his pilot’s license. playing pool, fishing, motorcycles, and was a World War II veteran. He retired from the Tennessee Gas Company.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Jean deBoer; two nieces, Judy Brotherton, Betty (Melvin) Roland; four great nieces, Paula (Stuart) Cranford, Jeana (James) Robbins, Georgana (Rich) SanGiacomo, Andrea (Allen) Sturm; one great nephew, Brian Roland; and several great great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 11am until 2pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Service will be following at 2pm at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Owens of the Liberty Bible Church of God. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
