Elizabeth Joyce Crowe Reffett, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was a widow of Edgar Lee Reffett. They were married for 55 years before he passed away in 2012. Born on July 24, 1936, in Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Oddie J. and Aileen Gross Crowe. She was retired from Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation and a member of Calvary Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Joey Lee and Gulena Reffett of Madison County and Darrell Wayne and Carolyn Reffett of Russell County; one granddaughter, Brittany Elizabeth Reffett of Lexington; two sisters, Janice Sue Borders and Charlotte Evelyn Pasley, both of Winchester; two nephews, Watson (Cindy) Caudill and Ernest Wayne (Jenny) Pasley, both of Winchester; four nieces, Teresa (Tommy) Welch of Nicholasville, Ladonna (David) Duvall, Jane Ashley Fulks and Camille Cooper, all of Winchester.

Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother who loved all her family and friends.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: John Henry Gross and Ida Vaughn Gross and James Thomas Crowe and Allie White Crowe; and a sister, Della Faye Crowe Caudill Bender.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Scobee Funeral Home and Rev. Paul Groves. Burial will be private at Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
