Mattie B. Johnson 87, of Winchester, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was a retired private cook. She is survived by her daughters Sally and late husband Don Poe of Clay City. Jackie and her husband John English of Alaska. Three grandchildren, Leslie and her wife Kelly Poe of Mount Sterling. Donald Jr. and his wife Hannah Poe of Stanton. Jonathan Poe of Lexington. She had two great-grandchildren Trey and Nic Poe of Stanton. She had three sisters Shirley Hardy, late Evelyn Griffin, late Thelma Hawkins. She also had three brothers Robert Dawes, Floyd Dawes, late Billy Dawes. She had several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late husband Henry “Jack” Johnson. The family has chosen cremation. Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the cremation.
