Marguerite “Peggy” Case, 86, widow of Lou Case, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health Lexington in-patient hospice on March 16, 2022. She was born in Oneonta, New York on July 21, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Edward Kramer and Helen D. Cole Kramer. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church where she served as a choir member and handbell choir director. She enjoyed the fine arts, was an active member of the Winchester Chorale, Madison Dulcimer, and became known as “Gma” to those who loved her.
Survivors include: Debbie (Jerry) Bishop; four grandchildren, Sarah (Trey) Parsley, Kristen (Wyatt) Bartlett, Christopher (Shelby) Case, Maria Bishop; six great-grandchildren, Hudson Bartlett, Briar Bartlett, Henley Bartlett, Phoenix Case, Maddox Case, Elizabeth Parsley.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was proceeded in death by her son, Darrell E. Case.
Private graveside service will be held at Nelson Rural Cemetery, Nelson, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Music Fund at First United Methodist Church, Winchester, Kentucky.
