The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Clark County continued a sharp downswing this week, according to the latest numbers released by the Clark County Health Department.

The health department reported 20 positive cases for the week on Friday, significantly down from the 55 cases reported last week.

So far, there have been 103 confirmed positive cases in March. There have been 10,968 cases in the area since the pandemic began two years ago.

As of Thursday, 8,303 Clark County residents have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, which is 60 percent of the population.
