Melissa Ann Hall was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She went home to the lord on March 26, 2022, after an unexpected and brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 25, 1950, in Mt. Sterling to Arnold and Olive Carter. She was a longtime resident of the Mt. Sterling area and an active member of the Spring Street Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling.

Melissa loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always the first one there in times of need to lend a hand and shoulder to lean on. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ronald Lee and Eddie Arnold Carter. She is survived by her husband Garland Wayne Hall, three sons Kenneth (Laura) Becraft, Barry (Brigitte) Becraft, and Brian (Susan) Becraft as well as eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 W. Lexington Avenue, Winchester, Kentucky by Pastor Larry Robinson. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Becraft, Barry Becraft, Brian Becraft, Ray Hall, Daulton Sparkman, and Eddie Carter Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be James Reed, Sr.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until time of service.
