Donald Ray Branham, 79, of Winchester, KY, husband of Anita Hammonds Branham, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Clark Regional Medical Center.

Donald was born in Slade, KY on May 9, 1942, to the late Lewis and Bessie Faulkner Branham. In his youth he moved with his family to Winchester where he graduated from Winchester High School in 1961. Donald later enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country in the medical corps as Sergeant Chief Ward Master. He worked for many years and retired from Bundy Tubing in Winchester.

Donald had a deep faith in Christ and was an active member of Central Baptist Church. He worked with the youth at Central Baptist for many years where he served as head of the Royal Ambassadors and as a Boy Scout leader. He also served many years as a referee for middle and high school basketball games in addition to serving as an umpire for Little League baseball.

Donald will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anita Hammonds Branham, and his three sons, Keith, Stewart (Tina) and Brandon (Kayla) Boyd; his four beloved grandchildren, Cameron, Lillian, Samuel and Benjamin Boyd; and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Sherry Erlinger.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service on Monday. Pastor Michael Houchens from Central Baptist Church will be officiating the services and burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
