Robert D. Campbell Junior High has a new principal and he is a familiar face.

A 23-year veteran of the education profession, Kincaid has experience at both the junior high and high school level and has worked in a variety of school settings including alternative and traditional education.  He has spent the last seven years at RDC  as a science teacher, a positive behavior specialist coach and as an assistant principal.

“While this decision seemed logical, I appreciated the challenging discussion our SBDM committee had. We want RDC to have an incredible leader that will be student centered, have a strong instructional focus, implement appropriate structures to support social emotional health, and build incredible relationships with parents and the community.” Clark County Public Schools Superintendent Molly McComas said, “As the committee went through the selection process, it was easily apparent that Mr. Kincaid will deliver. I also appreciate Mr. Kincaid’s efforts in supporting and collaborating with vertical alignment as we collectively move our district forward.”

Kincaid received a  bachelors in secondary science education from Alice Lloyd College, a masters in administration from the University of the Cumberlands, and a rank one certification in learning behavior disorders from Georgetown College. He and his wife, Crystal, have lived in Winchester for 15 years with their four children.

“My passion and vision for RDC is to help create and support an environment for our students to be the best they can be. I plan to be intentional in my new role as principal to help our entire RDC team become stakeholders in our students’ futures. RDC students should leave 8th grade prepared to begin high school with a potential vision of a career path beyond GRC. RDC Junior High will focus to help provide education and experiences that support the whole child.” Kincaid said . “Our students deserve the best we can offer and I hope to help work with administration, faculty and parents to provide an environment for each to succeed. I look forward to serving my community in this new role. Thanks in advance for supporting my desire to strive for greatness for all our RDC students.”
