Clark County Public Schools Board of Education member Brenda Considine has resigned her board seat effective Thursday.

Considine confirmed in an email to the Sun that she resigned Wednesday with an effective date of the next day.

Before her election in 2020, Considine served as a teacher, elementary school principal, and chief academic officer for CCPS in a career that spanned over 30 years.
