Dona Faye Cary Terwilliger, widow of William O’Neal Terwilliger, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Boonesboro Trail Senior Living. Born on July 27, 1938, in Emmett, Idaho, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mary Naomi Stephens Cary. Dona and her husband, “Poor Ol’ Bill” were the owner/operators of PDQ Market and Bait Shop for more than 19 years and members of Grace Bible Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, the UK Wildcats, and her faithful companion Holly. She was a gentle soul who will be missed.
Dona is survived by her two children, Deborah Lynn Smith and Kelly O’Neal Terwilliger (Pam); grandchildren, Melissa Smith Olsen (Eddie), Morgan Terwilliger Norris (Taylor), Joseph Terwilliger; great-grandchildren Kayla and Sabelle Olsen and Julian Norris; special friend, Jerri Moore; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dona was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gary Smith, and great-granddaughter Avacyn Norris.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Scobee Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Bible Church in Dona’s memory.
