Ruth Epperson Winburn, 87, widow of Walter James Winburn Jr., passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022. Born on September 15, 1934, in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Minnie Epperson. She was an administrative assistant at the UK Agricultural Center, and a homemaker.
She is survived by her three sons, William Robert Winburn (Anne), John Summers Winburn (Janice Weeks) and Steven Andrew Winburn (Terry), two grandchildren, Kathleen Brooke Messenger, and Lauren Elizabeth Winburn(Donnie Conatser), and two great grandchildren, Maxwell James Winburn and Benjamin Robert Winburn.
She was preceded in death by her son Walter James Winburn lll.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, August 29, 2022.
