Asa Miller Greene, 87, widower of Opal Lee Moore Greene, went home to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, September 16, 2022. A native of Winchester, Kentucky, he was born on March 30, 1935, to the late Frank and Allie Mae Goolman Greene. He was a retired maintenance mechanic with Sylvania, where he worked for 42 years, a devoted Christian, and a member of First Church of God Colby Road.

He is survived by four children, Teresa Carpenter, Debbie (Joey) Leyendecker, Terri Greene and Sherri (Tyelor Caldwell) Greene; six grandchildren, Brooke (Scott) Taulbee, Matthew Speck, Jerod (Julie) Speck, Brady (Naomi) Wolfrom, Briana Greene, and Brandon Greene; six great grandchildren; and beloved pets, Muffin, Trigger, Ginger, Daisy, and Sally.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Greene; son-in-law, Ray Carpenter; and infant brother, David Greene.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastors Alan Hutchinson, and Bill Konstantopoulos. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Cartwright, William Stoneking, Kevin Wilson, Todd Wilson, Paul Puckett, and David Clem. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Leyendecker, Matthew Speck, Jerod Speck, Brady Wolfrom, Ralph Palmer, Bob Cartwright, Bob Feeback, Gene Childers, Shirley Moore, Shane Wiseman, Clint Jako, First Church of God Door Greeters, and many special friends from Sylvania.

Visitation will be Monday, September 19, 2022, from 5:00-8:00PM, at Scobee Funeral Home.

In keeping with government guidelines family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing be followed.
