David Edward Ziegler, 73, passed away on October 11, 2022, at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Mary Louise Duckworth Ziegler.

Survivors include his son, David Joseph “DJ” Ziegler; daughters, Paula Ziegler, and Marcy Ziegler; Stepsons, Tommy (Lisa) Willoughby, Tony Willoughby, Joey (Paige) Willoughby; three siblings, Anita (Karl Weidhaas) Bourke, Patricia Umbarger, and Jeanine (Frank) Frastaci; girlfriend, Linda Blackwell; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by one sister, Dianne Ziegler.

Services will be at 11:00AM, Friday, October 14, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be DJ Ziegler, Jeremy Banks, Tommy Willoughby, Tony Willoughby, Joey Willoughby, Karl Weidhaas, and Josh Watkins.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until time of service.
