Katherine Mason, 90, widow of Harold B. Mason, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home in Winchester, Kentucky. She was born on November 7, 1931, in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Ed and Hattie Hall Cook.

Survivors include her children, Janice (Billy) Harper, Linda Mason, Patty Branham, Jimmie (Marcia) Mason and Harold (Barbara) Mason. Grandchildren; Tina Morguson Howard, Beep (Britney) Harper, Jesse Abney, Danny Branham, Jr., Tommy Mason, Michael Mason, Tammy Grigsby, and Tina Doolin. Great grandchildren; Apollo Branham, BreAnn Lewis, Brandon Morguson, Jennifer Martin, Lindsey Howard, Paxton Harper, Presley Harper, Daniel Doolin, Devin Doolin, and Tanner Grigsby. Great-great grandchildren; Cora Lewis, Daniel Doolin, Tina Doolin and Violet Doolin, several nieces, nephews, and cousin, one sister; Sally (Keith) Mitchell.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by grandson, Timmy Doolin, who was like her own son; one sister, Loma True of Frankfort; five brothers, James Cook, Paul Cook, Alvin Cook, Dan Cook, and Ted Cook, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Pastor Billy Keller. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers include Beep Harper, Jesse Abney, Michael Mason, Danny Branham Jr., Daniel Doolin, Devin Doolin and Tanner Grigsby. Special thank you to Carol Ballard and all the wonderful nurses of Hospice East for their great care and support shown during this difficult time.

Family will receive friends from 9:30AM until time of service.
