Maxine Hamon Handziak, 99, widow of Edward J. Handziak, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was born April 10, 1923 in Scott Co., KY, to the late Ellis and Corsa Combs Hamon. She was a US Navy veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church , Winchester. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Paul) Haas; sons Don (Angel) Handziak, Ron (Sherry) Handziak; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be on Monday, November 14, at 2:00 pm, at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home, with Bishop Al Gwinn and her grandson, Eliot Handziak, Army Chaplain, officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 pm till the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 204 S. Main St. Winchester, KY, 40391 or Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1317 US Hwy 62 E, Cynthiana, KY, 41031. Burial in Winchester Cemetery.
