Solar Work Shop

The Utility Scale Solar Workshop for Public Officials and Community Leaders will take place on Thursday, Dec. 15th. It has been rescheduled from its original Nov. 2nd date. The event will take place at the Clark County Public Library located at 370 S. Burns Avenue in Winchester and is hosted by the Center for Energy Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a center for renewable energy research, education, and community development. Workshop topics include environmental and safety impacts of solar technology, economic impacts of utility-scale solar projects, legal considerations for landowners.

Chorale concert

The Winchester Chorale will present its Christmas concert on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 2:30 at First Baptist Church at 32 E. Lexington Ave. in Winchester.

Bible conference

Grace Bible Church in Winchester will hosts its 10th Annual Prophecy Conference this weekend. The conference’s guest speaker will be Pastor Brandon Holthaus. Friday and Saturday’s sessions begin at 7 p.m. The Sunday session begins at 10:30 a.m. The church is located on 250 North Main Street.
