Elizabeth “Joyce” Kash, 70, wife of Joe “Mason” Kash, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her home in Winchester, Kentucky. Born in El Paso, Texas, on November 5, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Cline Conyers. Joyce was a homemaker and an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served for many years as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. She was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball and Cincinnati Reds Fan. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, she is survived by two children, Stephanie Kash (Jon) Mahanes and Jennifer Kash Cooper; four grandchildren, Ella Kate Cooper, Anna Lea Cooper, Mary Claire (Ben) McKinney, and Taylor (Jason) Stanfield; great granddaughter, Lily Stanfield; sisters, Karen Conyers (Gary) Harbin and Sharen Conyers (Gary) Hubbard; several special nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends. She also leaves behind her special dog, Petey.
Services will be at 12:00PM, Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Jon Mahanes, Gary Harbin, Gary Hubbard, Carter Harbin, Jimmy Clifford, Bob Feenick, Luke Barnett, and Andy Homan. Honorary pallbearers will be Cos Cosby, Thad Cosby, Brian Jantzen, Matthew Jantzen, Bob Jantzen, Leonard Guy, and Beverly Kendall.
