Thomas G. Schoolmaster, 79, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his home. Born July 2, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Reed Schoolmaster of Winchester, Kentucky, his father, Wallace L. Schoolmaster and mother, Rose Kerr Schoolmaster of Grand Rapids, Michigan and his sister, Kay Wilhite of Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his sister, Susan Schoolmaster of Grand Rapids, Michigan, his children, Kristine (Robert) Baumgart of Acworth, Georgia, Amy (Andrew) Jelley of Noblesville, Indiana, and Robert (Vicky) Schoolmaster of Winchester, Kentucky. As well as his grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Abigail (Justin) Keach, Kaitlyn and Christopher Baumgart, Elizabeth, Sean, and Sarah Jelley, and Michael Beckham and Zachary Schoolmaster. Visitation will be from 1-3 on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at First Christian DOC in Winchester, Kentucky with a Memorial service to follow. Thom’s passion was working with the youth in the community and helping those who needed assistance. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to go to Clark County Community Services in Thom’s name. Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
