Cora Mae Giles Rector, 94, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away March 19, 2023. She was born on July 7, 1928, in Columbia, Kentucky, to the late Bessie and Frank Giles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.G. “Bill” Rector; sons, Billy, Eddie, and Larry Rector; sister, Irene Scott; brothers, Henry and Robert Giles; son-in-law, Richard Holland; daughter-in-law, Jean Rector.

She is survived by her children, Tommy (Lisa) Rector, Teresa (Don) Pasley of Winchester, and Carolyn Holland of Louisville; brother, Kenneth L. Giles of St. Thomas of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Leah Schwartz, William Rector, Heather Emmick, Wendy Brown, Josh, Hannah, Elijah Rector, and Ben Pasley; and 15 great grandchildren and a close nephew, Kenson Giles. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Linda Barrett.

Cora volunteered for 25 years for Clark County Hospital Auxiliary and Helping Hands. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
