Deborah Jae Alexander, 70, of Winchester, KY passed away on Friday, April 28th at Hospice, Markey Cancer Center. She was born in Lexington KY to the late Marion “Maxine” Shearer and Johnny Brumfield on June 4, 1952. Survivors are a host of cousins. Jae loved the Theatre. She received her MA at the University of Kentucky. She then went to Northwestern to study Film and received her PhD in Mass Communication at the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a former Filmmaker at The Practical Theatre Company in Chicago, Production Coordinator at WFLD-TV in Chicago, Board Operator at WlXG-Am in Lexington, KY and an Adjunct Faculty at University of Phoenix-Louisville Campus.
Jae loved being creative and she made Jewelry and pottery at her mother’s home in Clark County in the Old Rock Barn.
There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time.
Burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be sent in her name to Clark County Humane Society.
