“It is an honor and a privilege to once again be able to serve the community of Clark County and to be a part of GRC,” he said in a statement. Clark County’s future is very bright, and I look forward to getting to know the staff and students better at GRC and to build on the foundation that has already been set. Together, with the support of our families, staff, and students, I believe the sky’s the limit to what we are able to achieve.”
Toy began his career in education in Clark County Public Schools, spending six years as a science teacher at Robert D. Campbell Junior High School.
He served the last two years in Montgomery County as an assistant principal at Mapleton Elementary and the district’s high school.
Toy earned a degree in construction engineering from Eastern Kentucky University. He has master’s degrees in counseling, teaching and educational leadership from both Liberty University and the University of the Cumberlands.
GRC’s outgoing principal, Jamie Keene, has accepted a district-level administrative post.
