Compiled by Matt Cizek. The following arrests were reported by the Winchester Police Department between Jan. 21st-23rd. They are matters of record and not indications of guilt or innocence.

Jan. 21st

  • Jazzie Dcedric Austin, 36 – Fleeing or evading police – 1st degree – On Foot. Alcohol intoxication in a public place – 1st & 2nd offenses. Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting.
  • Kevin A. Austin, 19 – Public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting.
  • John Davis Goodwin, 32 – Assault – 4th degree (domestic violence). Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree – 1st offense (methamphetamine). Drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
  • Eugene Lawson, 71 – Assault – 4th degree (minor injury).

Jan. 22nd

  • Wesley Curtis Bunch, 40 – Failure to appear – citation for misdemeanor.
  • Austin Tyler Gum, age unknown – Serving warrant (for other police agency). Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree – 1st offense (methamphetamine). Assault – 4th degree (domestic violence). Endangering the welfare of a minor. Possession of a controlled substance – 2nd degree – Amphetamine.
  • Carson Lee Hansel, 75 – Failure to appear – citation for misdemeanor.
  • Crystal Rene Hendrix, 37 – Failure to appear – citation for misdemeanor.
  • Jason Stamper, 43 – Serving probation/parole violation warrant.

  • Andrea N. Fletcher, 38 – Failure to appear – citation for misdemeanor.
  • Chris Allen Johnson, 31 – Criminal mischief – 2nd degree. Criminal mischief – 3rd degree.
  • Reginald Lee Knowles, 44 – Public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol).
  • Drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
  • Jackie Lawson, 50 – Probation violation (for felony offense).
  • Karen Sizemore, 55 – Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance. Criminal mischief – 1st degree. Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security – 1st offense.
  • David Ray Strange, 44 – Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting.
