John V. Hall Sr. 84, widow of Janet Reed Hall, passed away surrounded by family on May 18, 2024, in Winchester, KY. He was the son of the late Dallas B. Hall and Frances Hall. John retired from IBM working in the building maintenance and parts department.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeannie (Tony) Gwynne of Winchester and one son, John V. (Anna) Hall Jr. of Winchester. Four grandchildren, John Gwynne, Janeice Gwynne, Dallas Hall, and Lillian Hall. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Parker, and Elizabeth Carol Hall.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, as this was near and dear to his heart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024, at 1:00pm at Scobee Funeral home with a visitation Tuesday May 21, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00.
