A 19-year-old charged with having sexual relations with a juvenile on at least two occasions sent her case to the grand jury.

Gabriela Holbrook, 19, of Olympia, was arrested in October on a warrant for sexual misconduct and prohibited use of an electronic communications system to procure a minor for sex, according to court documents.

Holbrook was scheduled for a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Clark District Court to establish probable cause for the charges, but decided to waive the hearing.

According to court documents, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in September about a sexual assault involving a juvenile.

The victim told detectives there were two instances of sexual contact and at least three times where the victim received sexually explicit texts from Holbrook’s phone.

In an interview with detectives, Holbrook reportedly confessed to sodomy with the 14-year-old. Holbrook said she was 18 at the time.

If convicted, Holbrook could serve up to five years in prison for prohibited use. Sexual misconduct is a misdemeanor offense.
