First Baptist Church at 37 N. Highland St. will host a first-time home buyers this Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

The speakers will be Tirza Howard of Diamond Key Realtors, Jessica Fitch Snedegar of Bluegrass Credit Services and Melanie Womack Orr of Century Mortgage.

“For anybody who is thinking about buying a home in the future or looking to do something now, this is a good opportunity” to learn about home buying, credit and mortgages, Angela Berry, a church employee, said.

It isn’t necessary to register beforehand. Guests can just show up. The church is preparing for about 100 people.

“We welcome everybody to come,” Berry said.
