Teacher training workshop at First Baptist

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will hosed Beverly J. Sonnier for a teacher training workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21. The workshop will include an in-depth training about teaching the gospel and building a strong Christian education ministry. This training is for teachers, deacons, ministers and anyone interested in learning more about teaching the gospel. Cost is $15 per person, or group rates apply. Worship services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Adult, children and youth Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be line dancing from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall. There will be a prayer meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the library. This is an opportunity to be prayed for, to pray for neighbors, the church and the world.
