WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Robert Virgil Pensol, 46, was charged Monday with public intoxication and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Ruth Lane Watkins, 37, was charged Monday with public intoxication and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts).

— Ryen Logan Fellows, 23, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree assault and alcohol intoxication.

— Carmela Patrick Franklin, 42, was charged Tuesday with first0degree possession of a controlled substance and was served a warrant.

— Alexander Gonzalez Oliva, 27, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Preston Daniel Gross, 31, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended operator’s license.

— Timothy Earl McDaniel, 38, was charged Wednesday with trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces.

— At 5:06 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 67 Fitch Ave. concerning an assault. A person was punched and cut on the arm.

— At 8:23 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft.

— At 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 127 Bane Place concerning an assault. Ryen Logan Fellows was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and alcohol intoxication.

— At 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a person making threats.

— At 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 104 Old Bottom Road concerning a possible sexual offense.

— At 11:06 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 437 Oreo Drive after tires were slashed on a vehicle.

— At 4:59 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

Reports

— At 10:21 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to Ford Hampton Road concerning a neighbor setting up a shooting range.

— At 1:11 p.m. June 4, deputies took a report concerning a person sending harassing text messages.

— At 2:16 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 767 Dogwood Lane after a vehicle was damaged following an argument.

— At 11:53 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road, concerning a theft of an electric wheelchair.

— At 12:58 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mount Sterling Road.

— At 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a transformer fire at 135 Woodford Drive.

— At 5:37 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Pretty Run for a report of downed utility lines.

— At 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 3459 Lexington Road concerning a tree on a house.

— At 5:42 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road, concerning a tree on the building.

— At 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 5490 Lexington Road for a report of downed utility lines.

— At 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 1550 Van Meter Road concerning a tree in the utility lines.

— At 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 4600 Paris Road for a report of downed utility lines.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 37 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, one respiratory case, three seizures and one overdose.

— At 12:14 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a smell of gas in a building at 10 Canary Lane.

— At 1:58 p.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near 4739 Mount Sterling Road.
