Hospital to celebrate 100th anniversary 

Robert Parker, new chief executive officer of Clark Regional Medical Center, will be joined by leaders from LifePoint Health for a community celebration of Clark Regional’s 100th anniversary from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 10.  In addition, CRMC will host a community health fair as part of the week-long celebration, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13. Both events are at CRMC, 175 Hospital Drive.

American Legion to meet

American Legion Post 25 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the VFW Hall at 116 Sterling St. All veterans are welcome. Bring your DD214 if you new.

City Commission meeting rescheduled 

The Winchester Board of Commissioners meetings scheduled for May 2 has been canceled and rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. May 9 in the commissioner chambers of city hall.

Youth fishing day May 13

The Clark County Fish and Game Club’s annual youth fishing day will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at the clubhouse on Water Works Road. The event is free and open to all youth 15 and younger. Bluegill tourney May 20

The Clark County Fish and Game Club will hold an open bluegill tournament from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday May 20. The event, which is open to anyone 16 years of age and older, will be at the Carroll Ecton Reservoir, 1255 Water Works Road. For more information, call Lee Kerr at 771-5639.
