Bertha was a special employee at the Department of Highways District 7 Office in Lexington. In addition to keeping the employees happy, she quietly and diligently worked to keep the facilities neat and clean. She was a friend to all and she especially liked “socializing” with everyone she met. She enjoyed visiting flea markets with Phyllis and often purchased items for friends. She loved animals and enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. Her smile and good humor will be missed by all her colleagues and friends. She wished to thank everyone for their love and care over the years.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00PM.
