Donald Glenn Stone, 79, husband of Emma Sue Burger Stone, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center from a brief illness.

He was born on April 17, 1938 in Winchester to the late Ernest C. Sr. and Cora Lee Chism Stone.

He was retired from the University of Kentucky transportation and athletics department and was the Secretary Fieldman for the Kentucky Angus Association for forty years. He served in the United States Air Force and was an active member of Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of fifty five years he is survived by one son, David G. Stone of New Albany, IN and one daughter, Donna S. (David J.) Meibers of Winchester; Two grandchildren, Jessica L. and Donald Joseph (Mia) Meibers; One brother, Mickey R. Stone and one sister in law, Juanita Stone.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Othel, Leon, Ernest Jr. and William Y. Stone.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church by Reverend Pat Finley. Burial will follow in the Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be, Mitchell Stone, Mike Stone, Darrell Stone, Ray Hatton, David Meibers and Joe Meibers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
