Betty Ruth Hager, 86, of Winchester, wife of the late Eugene Rankin Hager, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

Betty was born on January 17, 1931 in Clark County to the late Jim and Lula Hughes Winburn. She was a homemaker and helped run a local grocery store for several years.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Howard of Clark County and Shelia McKinney of Jeffersonville, KY; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Hukle; Betty also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Eugene Hager.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00PM, Friday, August 18, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Whit Criswell. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Jimmy Hager and Ramon Perales.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
