Arthur G. Shrout, 69

Arthur G. Shrout, 69, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

He was born in Winchester, August 11, 1949 to Elizabeth Shearer Shrout and the late Arthur L. Shrout. He was self-employed and owned Shrout Service for 32 years. He was a loving and proud husband, father, grandfather, son and brother and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Arthur was a Ky Colonel and in years past he had been an avid car enthusiast with his ‘32 Chevrolet. He enjoyed working in his garage and visiting with friends who often stopped by. He was often seen mowing around the pond on his tractor and the John Deere.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandy Wilson Shrout, his mother Elizabeth Shearer Shrout, two sons; Adam G Shrout and Alan L Shrout(Jaime); one grandson Camden L Shrout, Holly Springs , NC,; one sister Rose L. Spencer; three nieces; Jennifer Wilson White, Bobbi Jo Russell (Todd) and Dr. Kari B Spencer (Brian).

Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations are suggested to Hospice East.
