Clark man arrested for armed robbery

Police arrested a Winchester man Monday night after he allegedly robbed another man at gunpoint on Depot Street.

Casey J. Larrison, 36, of 41 Clay St., was located a short time after the incident and arrested on multiple charges including first-degree robbery.

According to court records, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. at 10:30 p.m. Monday, where they met the victim.

The victim said he was approached by a white male on Depot Street who pulled a silver handgun, pointed it in the victim’s face and demanded his wallet.

The victim said the man then left with his wallet and about $200 in cash, and fled toward the Sphar building and Winn Avenue.

Larrison was spotted on Winn Avenue and matched the description given by the victim, officers said.

Larrison reportedly admitted to having the weapon and marijuana, as well as being a convicted felon.

The victim later identified Larrison as his attacker.

Larrison was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and first-degree robbery.

He was lodged in the Clark County Detention Center and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Clark District Court.
