GRC grad named PAC Player of the Year
Clark County is usually well-known for how solid its basketball teams have been over the years.
However, not many athletes have had the opportunity to go to the next level and be named the conference player of the year.
GRC graduate Damion King beat those odds by becoming the PAC Player of the Year at Thomas More College.
While achieving the POY honor, King reached another milestone when he scored his 1,000th career point on February 10 against Waynesburg.
The junior guard was named to First Team All-PAC while also leading the conference in steals.
King helped lead his team to its third PAC Tournament title this season.
The Saints finished the regular season 23-5 while going undefeated against conference opponents at home.
Thomas More made an appearance in the DIII National Tournament but lost in the first round to John Carroll University.
