Witt: No shortage of Democratic candidates
Well, one can’t honestly say that the Democrats can’t find anyone who would like to be President.
Hardly a day goes by without another Democrat throwing his hat (or her bonnet) into the ring.
While many of those who are presently contemplating a run for the office will eventually drop out, it is also likely that, in the 21 months until the 2020 general election, and about fifteen months until the primaries, other contenders will come forward.
So, in the interim, and awaiting the newcomers, here’s a brief: very brief: synopsis of several of the potential Democrat contenders.
The ages listed for each individual are the ages they would be at the time of the general election.
— Joe Biden, 78: Vice-President, 2009-2017; Senator from Delaware, 1973-2009.

— Cory Booker, 49: New Jersey Senator since 2013, Newark mayor, 2006-2013; Yale Law School; Rhodes Scholar.
— Kamala Harris, 56: California Senator since 2016; California Attorney General, 2011-’2017; San Francisco district attorney, 2004-2011.
