Beloved stories come to life with Fairy Tale Fun
Once upon a time, children sat in awe of the stories unfolding before them — tales of girls with golden hair breaking into a bear family’s house, a neck-to-neck race between a tortoise and a hare and even a tale of a big bad wolf attempting to huff and puff and blow three little pigs’ houses down.
Fairy Tale Fun, a traveling children’s theater, acted out the three tales with added twists Wednesday at the Clark County Public Library. The actors even brought up volunteers from the audience.
The theater company from Metcalfe County’s Barn Lot Theater travels throughout the year to perform and provide interactive experiences to families through the magic of theater, according to its website.
The theater aims to teach children life lessons with the help of classic fairy tales.
“Remember pals, slow and steady wins the race,” the tortoise, played by actor Dustin Popp, told the audience.
