John Wesley Grose, 95, widower of Wanda Mae McGue Grose, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at his home.

He was born on May 5, 1922, in Charleston, WV, to the late Paul E. and Anna Carol Grose. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a retired roofer.

Survivors include two daughters, Wanda M. Joy of Connecticut and Patricia Bertness of Texas; three sons, John W. Grose of Washington State, Tom J. Grose of Nevada and Gary Grose of Cincinnati, OH; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM Monday, October 2, 2017, at Winchester Cemetery Shelter by Pastor Dave Hoffman. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
