Newton accepted to University of the Cumberlands

University of the Cumberlands has accepted Kierstyn Newton of Winchester for the upcoming academic year. Kierstyn is welcomed into the UC Class of 2024.

Newton will be among 1,800 other students on the UC Williamsburg campus finding academic opportunity in more than 40 majors, more than 30 clubs and student organizations, 28 athletic teams and a commitment to affordability in a private, liberal arts education.

Hernandez earns dean’s list at Berea College

A Clark County student was one of more than 460 Berea College students named to the fall 2019 dean’s list.

Diana Hernandez of Winchester was among those who achieved a GPA of 3.4 or higher while passing at least four total credits, a course load equivalent to 16 semester hours.
